Ingredients
How to make Keto Garlic Bread
Grab a microwave safe glass dish, about 4.5″ wide, and place inside the almond flour, baking powder and sea salt. Whisk to combine. Shred the cheddar cheese, peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Add half of the garlic to the dish along with the egg, olive oil and cheddar cheese.
Whisk until fully combined and then microwave for 90 seconds. Set the dish aside to cool, melt the butter in a separate dish and then heat a skillet on medium high heat. Whisk the remaining garlic into the melted butter and set aside.
After the keto garlic bread has cooled for a minute or two, run a knife around the outer edge to make sure it is not stuck anywhere to the dish, and then flip the whole container upside down to remove the bread from the dish.
Slice the keto garlic bread in half, horizontally, so that you now have two breads. Divide half of the garlic butter between the top of both breads and spread it all around, then sprinkle 1 tsp parmesan cheese evenly over top of the bread slices.
Flip the bread onto the hot skillet so that the buttery-cheesy side is being cooked first. Fry in the hot skillet for 1-2 minutes, until the bread is golden. Divide the remaining garlic butter between the tops of the bread and sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the bread slices.
Flip each bread over and fry until the second side is golden, about 1-2 minutes. Serve with your favourite soup, salad or Spaghetti!

Expert Tips
- A garlic press is used to press the garlic into a paste. If you do not have one, you could either use pre made garlic paste or mince the garlic as finely as possible.
- Let the bread cool for a moment or two before turning out of the dish so that it is not too hot to handle.
- Ensure the skillet is hot before adding the bread, otherwise it will not get that nice golden colour. If your stove takes a while to heat up, I suggest turning it on before the bread is mixed up and microwaved.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make this bread without a microwave?
Don’t have a microwave? No worries, this Keto Garlic Bread can be made in the oven! It will take a while longer than the 7 minutes, but it can be done.
Heat the oven to 350° and spray the inside of a 4.5″ oven safe dish with cooking oil. Add the bread ingredients as instructed in the recipe card and instead of microwaving for 90 second, bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until the bread is cooked through. Continue with the remaining instructions!
