What’s better than being able to make your favourite dressing from scratch? When it tastes even better than store bought! I love homemade ranch dressing not only because it’s absolutely delicious. Have you ever read the list of ingredients on the back of store bought? It’s a little scary.
This Low Carb Ranch Dressing is perfect for so many things. My favourite uses are veggie dip, salad dressing, chicken nugget dip and sandwich spread! I hope you love this Keto Ranch Dressing as much as we do!
Why it works
- The ingredients used in this recipe are perfectly balanced for a delicious ranch dressing that is easy to make and ready in minutes.
- Use fresh herbs or, if not available, measurements are given for dried herbs.
- There is nothing like a freshly whipped up ranch dressing. Impress your friends and family or keep it all to yourself!
Ingredients
Parsley & Chives – Fresh herbs make a big difference in the freshness of this Keto Ranch Dressing, but sometimes they are hard to find! Dried parsley and chives can be used instead.
How to make Keto Ranch Dressing
If you are using fresh Italian parsley and/or chives, mince them both. In a medium bowl add all of the ingredients and whisk until fully combined. Refrigerate for an hour if possible.
That’s it!
Keep this dressing in the refrigerator. It will last for about a week, unless your sour cream or heavy whipping cream best before dates are sooner.
Watch it all go down!
Expert Tips
- You can eat this dressing right away, however, the longer you let it sit, the better it is going to taste as the flavours begin to build off of each other.
- Fresh herbs bring a deeper, fresher flavour, so I highly recommend using them if you can! If not, dried herbs work in a pinch.
- If the dressing it too thick once fully cooled, add more heavy whipping cream until the desired consistency has been reached.
Now that you’ve got it, here’s how you can enjoy it:
- Low Carb Chicken Wrap with Bacon and Avocado – spread this ranch on the tortilla instead of cream cheese.
- Vegetable dip
- Sandwich spread – try this on a Low Carb Everything Bagel with Turkey, bacon, lettuce and homemade low carb ranch dressing!
- Dip for Fathead Pizza
- Ranch Cauliflower Broccoli Salad with Bacon and Cheese
- Dip for Low Carb Baked Chicken Tenders or Keto Nuggets
- To coat chicken or pork chops – Coat the meat with Keto Ranch Dressing before breading with almond flour or crushed pork rinds!

What kind of mayo do you use? I haven’t found any keto friendly mayo.
Hellmans has an organic avocado oil one as does primal kitchen! I find both in my local grocery store 🙂
You can also make your own “Keto” Mayo which is also delicious and can use in this Ranch recipe. You can find recipe for Keto Mayo in Pinterest.
