4 Ingredient Garlic Aioli

- 4 cloves garlic
- ½ tsp sea salt divided
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 lemon squeezed 1 ½ tbsp juice
Directions
Peel the garlic cloves and then mince finely. Sprinkle ¼ tsp sea salt over the garlic and then using the side and edge of your knife blade, crush the garlic. Alternate mincing the garlic and crushing it back and forth with the edge of your knife.
Add the garlic paste to a bowl with the mayonnaise. Squeeze the juice from the lemon and add 1 ½ tbsp lemon juice to the bowl. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving, to allow the flavour to develop. Taste and add remaining sea salt if needed.
