Teriyaki Chicken In The Crock-pot
With just a few simple ingredients and hours of cooking, you’ll have a flavorful, hearty meal that the whole family will enjoy.

- 1 pound chicken breast or thighs boneless, skinless 
- 1/2  cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp ginger root freshly grated 
- a pinch red pepper flakes Optional
- 2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons cold water Optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place chicken in the crock pot, and top with soy sauce, honey, and garlic.  
- Sprinkle ginger on top of everything. 
- Add optional red pepper flakes for an extra kick and stir to combine. 
- Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through and tender. 
- If desired, add the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce (optional). 
- Once reduced, season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with rice and vegetables. Enjoy!
