Keto Mini Chaffle Recipe

This Mini Keto Chaffle recipe is perfect for a quick and easy low carb breakfast or snack! Made with just a few simple ingredients, these keto chaffles are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Serve them with your favorite toppings, or enjoy them plain! Bonus, it makes a great bread substitute for any of your favorite sandwiches.

Equipment

  • Dash Mini Waffle Maker (Round or Square Options)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Almond Flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat mini waffle maker
  • In a small bowl mix together egg and cheddar cheese until well combined.
  • Add almond flour and mix together.
  • Pour one half of the mix into mini waffle maker (or just enough to almost fill the waffle maker, there should be a small gap on the edges as it needs space to rise)
  • Cook 3-4 minutes (a little longer if you want extra crispy) or until golden brown. Repeat until the batter is gone.

Notes

  • If you are using a larger waffle maker you might be able to use all the batter to cook a chaffle. This will vary depending on the size of your machine.
  • Add any of your favorite flavors or toppings to add some spice to your chaffles such as garlic powder, salt and pepper, herbs or pizza spices. 
  • If you want a more fluffy chaffle add in 1/4 teaspoon baking powder and a pinch of salt. 
  • To make sweet chaffles use mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar and top with your favorite sweet toppings.
