Expert Tips

  1. Buy ham fresh from a deli department so that you can get it sliced thick and also, choose a ham that is fresh and free from added preservatives. Dice it nice and small so that these burritos are easier to eat and so that there is more ham to go around.
  2. Be sure to wait until the skillet is nice and hot before adding the ham, pepper and onion. This will ensure your veggies and ham get a nice crisp layer without becoming dry in the middle.
  3. Don't have tin foil? You can also wrap the breakfast burritos in wax paper before freezing.
  4. Learn how to wrap a burrito properly but follow the steps in the post.

Reheating options:

  1. Remove tin foil then microwave until fully heated.
  2. Thaw overnight, leave the tin foil on and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes until fully heated.
  3. Thaw overnight or microwave to thaw then grill on a panini grill for a couple of minutes until fully heated.
