Mini Low Carb Meatballs with BBQ Sauce
These Mini Low Carb Meatballs in BBQ Sauce are boldly flavoured, great for an easy weeknight meal or an excellent choice to add to appie night!
Servings 4 people
Heat oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with the non stick baking mat. In the medium mixing bowl combine ground beef, minced garlic, diced onion, sea salt, black pepper, egg and almond flour. Mix well then scoop out 1TBSP sized portions and shape into balls. Place them evenly on the baking mat.
Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven. Pour your choice of Low Carb BBQ Sauce over top of the meatballs and stir to coat. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. If you choose to caramelize them a little bit, turn your oven onto broil for a few minutes until the barbecue sauce starts to brown further.
Remove from the oven and serve hot.
