  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp low sodium soya sauce
  • 1 tsp worchershire
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 1/2 red onion

Equipment Needed

  • In the large mixing bowl whisk together the soya sauce, worchestershire, brown sugar and garlic. Empty 1/3 into a small bowl. Heat the sesame oil in the wok on medium high. Thinly slice up the red onion then cut into quarters. On an angle, thinly slice the carrots, and cut the ends off the green beans.
  • Toss the carrots, green beans and red onion in the large mixing bowl and add to the hot wok. Cook with the lid on, stir every minute or so. Cook for 4 minutes.
  • Dice up the broccoli into bite sized pieces and add to the large mixing bowl with the remaining 1/3 sauce and both types of peas. Add to the hot wok, toss well, and cook with the lid on for another minute or so. You want the veggies to have a bright colour but not be over cooked.
  • Serve hot alongside your favourite main dish like Teriyaki Chicken Thighs and rice.
