Low Carb Refried Beans
• black soy beans • avocado oil • garlic • jalapeño • cumin • chili powder • sea salt • limes • water
Heat oil in a saucepan and add chili powder, cumin and garlic.
Add diced jalapeños and salt and cook until fragrant, 1-2 minutes.
Stir in rinsed black soy beans and lime juice.
Add water until the beans and JUST covered.
Simmer for 45 minutes, adding water as needed so that the beans are always covered.
Use an immersion blender to puree until smooth.
