Seville Classics Easy-to-Clean Bamboo Cutting Board and 7 Color-Coded Flexible Cutting Mats

Genius.

Absolutely genius.

There are a few unique features of this cutting board that I absolutely adore. It comes with not only the bamboo cutting board, but a pack of plastic boards that are tucked away below!

Pros:

Lets start with it’s gorgeous! A sleek bamboo brings beauty to this essential tool. It’s a large board at 13.5″ x 16.5″ with a great price tag; you won’t find a bamboo cutting board this large for this price, let alone with plastic inserts!

Second, the functionality is exceptional. To house seven boards in one is amazing; no more need for the cupboard filled with cutting boards! The plastic inserts are super bendable (pouring chopped up goodies into boiling water is a breeze) and are dishwasher safe which makes is easy when dealing with raw meat; once finished, plop the insert into the dishwasher and grab a new board from underneath for the rest of your meal.

Lastly, the quality is great! I spend hours in my kitchen daily and have had my cutting board set for a year and will continue to use it as my only chopping station for years to come.

Cons:

The only con I can add to this list is the bamboo board as well as the inserts mark up very easily. I think I owned this for maybe five seconds before my sister came over and decided to go to town on a head of romaine and take my cutting board as her first casualty. I definitely teared up a bit. So now to avoid more trauma I always chop with an insert in place, or make sure I’m aware of the strength I’m using with my knife. As for the plastic inserts, when they have become too marked up for you liking, new spare inserts can be bought to replace them. Again, I have used my set three meals a day for a year and am no where near needing to replace them.
