Well, I’ve been trying to start on this recipe for six hours now… however, teething baby = no mama time! I hope I’m not too cross eyed and / or brain dead to get this typed out properly. If so, please feel free to hassle me!

I love this salad dressing! It has been my staple for years. I use it for my favourite Mama Bear’s Garden Salad, as well as my Loaded Veggie Quinoa salad. Its lemony goodness brightens everything it touches and if used with good quality ingredients is a healthy choice!

Mama Bear’s Garden Salad. Fresh meets toasty goodness in this salad bursting with flavour and depth.

What is in Mama Bear’s House Dressing

This vinaigrette has white wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, garlic, lemon, dijon, sugar, Italian spices, salt, pepper and olive oil.

How to make a House Dressing

Simply throw everything except the olive oil into a bowl and use your immersion blender to puree the dressing until smooth. Next step is to slowly add the olive oil while continuing to blend and voila! Deliciousness! I have a major crush on my immersion blender, but if you don’t have one you can use a whisk; just make sure you mince your garlic finely before adding!

With only five minutes to whip up this beauty, I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do!

Low Carb House Dressing

This House Dressing does call for sugar, however, can easily be replaced with 1 tsp powdered erythritol or sweetener of your choice!

Everything else fits in well with a low carb diet.

Still, even without replacing the sugar, this dressing only has 6g of carbs in the entire batch of dressing! So if you drench a salad with this dressing, you will probably only be consuming about 1-2g of carbs.

Still, if you have erythritol or another sweetener, go ahead and switch it out!
